Executive Mosaic is honored to introduce Chris Bauer, an executive vice president and general manager at AECOM, as an inductee into the 2016 edition of the Wash100 — Executive Mosaic’s annual selection of influential leaders in the government contracting arena.
Bauer serves as EVP and GM of the Los Angeles-based company’s systems engineering and information solutions business, where he manages a portfolio of program management, software development, systems engineering and information technology service offerings for federal civilian and defense agencies.
His team is part of the management services segment AECOM unveiled after its $4 billion purchase of URS Corp. in October 2014.
The more than 30-year industry veteran previously served as senior VP and general manager of the AECOM’s global support services unit, where he was responsible for profit-and-loss functions.
During the same period, Bauer also oversaw the unit’s marketing and business pursuit activities as chief strategy officer.
Prior to AECOM, he directed Dell‘s go-to-market group focused on the intelligence market.
Bauer also worked in a senior VP position at Triple-i, with responsibility over its federal and defense business lines, after he spent 10 years at American Systems in roles such as EVP, GM and chief operating officer.
Executive Mosaic congratulates Chris Bauer and the AECOM team for their selection to receive this award.
