PELLEGRINI_allan_wash100_2016Executive Mosaic is glad to introduce Alan Pellegrini, president and CEO of Thales USA, as an inductee into the 2016 edition of the Wash100 — Executive Mosaic’s annual selection influential leaders in the government contracting industry.

Pellegrini leads this subsidiary of the France-based conglomerate Thales Group and oversees U.S.-based operations in the aerospace, transportation, space, security and defense market segments.

Thales credits Pellegrini for his work in 2015 to help launch the Thales xPlor initiative that seeks to promote entrepreneurship and innovation through partnerships with business startups and academic institutions and played a role in the acquisition of California-based data security firm Vormetric.

The subsidiary secured a subcontract from Northrop Grumman in February 2015 to provide i-FMS200 flight management system software for integration with the avionics mission tools package in support of Northrop’s upgrade work on the U.S. Army’s UH-60L Black Hawk helicopters.

“This is a further expansion of our presence in the US military helicopter market,” Pellegrini said of the contract.

He previously served as head of Thales Group’s in-flight entertainment and connectivity business before he became CEO of the U.S. arm in 2013.

The 10-year Thales Group veteran is a former CEO of Integrated Media Solutions and held senior leadership roles at Panasonic, Rockwell Collins and Hughes Avicom.

Executive Mosaic congratulates Alan Pellegrini and the Thales USA team for their selection to receive this award.
