Executive Mosaic is glad to announce Peter Hadinger, president of Inmarsat‘s U.S. government business, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting industry.
Hadinger’s team handles the British satellite services firm’s sales and programs for the U.S. public sector and has led the development of government-focused tools and services for Inmarsat’s new Global Xpress program.
Inmarsat has worked with U.S. government agencies for more than 35 years and its U.S. government business unit has since worked to develop tools and services for its customers’ mobile requirements.
The company’s services are designed to work alongside tactical military satellites and the Global Xpress system is built to complement wideband military satellites.
Additionally, the unit has focused on U.S. government market demand for security and resiliency with existing equipment and shared commercial satellite infrastructure as a way to meet an increase in connectivity and bandwidth demand in a time of budget reductions.
“Inmarsat’s experience meeting the mission-critical requirements of U.S. government users worldwide has led us to create a ‘satellite service in the cloud’ for government needs. By developing our commercial systems with government users in mind, Inmarsat, together with our partners, can rapidly deploy new, advanced services faster than ever before,” Hadinger told Executive Mosaic.
“It is a unique position and great privilege to have such a dynamic team and the resources of Inmarsat to execute on these innovative approaches to address the challenges of our government customers,” Hadinger added.
Hadinger has served on satellite task force of the President’s National Security Telecom Advisory Commission and is a former executive for Northrop Grumman, where he focused on technology development, engineering and government spacecraft programs.
He also is a former president of the Satellite Industry Association, an organization Inmarsat is a member of.
