Simon Lee

Executive Mosaic is glad to announce Simon Lee, chairman and CEO of STG, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting industry.

Lee founded STG in 1986 — seven years after he immigrated to the U.S. from South Korea — in a push to meet demand for support services in information technology.

The company landed its first major government contract with the State Department in 1993 and has since expanded its services in information assurance, systems integration and other IT areas for both civilian and defense organizations.

In August 2014, STG said it won a $102.6 million contract to provide IT support for the U.S. Army‘s CONUS Theater Network Operations and Security Center.

Lee, an alumnus of George Washington University’s systems engineering graduate program, received the GWU President’s Medal in 2014 for his support of academic and alumni programs and achievements in government contracting.

Executive Mosaic extends its congratulations to Simon Lee and the STG team for their selection to receive this award.
