Executive Mosaic is glad to unveil Tony Cole, vice president and global government chief technology officer at FireEye, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting industry.
Cole works with the company’s leaders to examine requirements for government cybersecurity programs and potential upgrades to FireEye and Mandiant offerings.
He told ExecutiveBiz in a February 2014 interview that his company’s acquisition of Mandiant targeted the endpoint security sector as FireEye aims to provide security services for platforms such as email, Internet and mobile devices.
“We heard that repeatedly from customers – ‘when are you going to move to the end point and take your solutions there?’ The Mandiant acquisition now gives us that presence at the end point so that customers actually will be protected across all their vectors,” Cole said to ExecutiveBiz.
Cole also works with state and local agencies such as the governments of New Orleans and the District of Columbia cyber-related policies and developments in the threat environment.
The former U.S. Army senior non-commissioned officer helped form computer emergency response teams in the military and has previously worked at McAfee and Symantec.
Executive Mosaic offers its congratulations to Tony Cole and the FireEye team for their selection to receive this award.
