Executive Mosaic is glad to unveil Mary Ann Hopkins, president of Parsons ‘government services business, as the newest inductee into the Wash100 — a group of influential leaders in the government contracting industry.
Hopkins has led the business for two years and is in charge of the unit’s management, engineering and technical services work for U.S. government clients.
She spoke to ExecutiveBiz shortly after her appointment to the role and highlighted international markets as a component of the company’s strategy to grow its government services business.
“We’re looking to grow our footprint in geographies, such as MENA+ and Australasia. These geographies are of great interest to Parsons,” Hopkins told our staff.
In 2014, the Hopkins-led business also announced its support for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency‘s program to eliminate chemical weapons in Libya and unveiled the Cran cybersecurity tool to help security teams identify hacker-caused system issues.
The 23-year Parsons veteran serves on the advisory council for the College of Engineering and Computer Science at her alma mater Syracuse University.
Executive Mosaic extends its congratulations to Mary Ann Hopkins and the Parsons team for their selection to receive this award.
