A former civilian in the U.S. Department of the Army, Ashworth brings extensive public sector experience and responsibilities to her role, including a stint as staff director of the Defense Subcommittee where she helped formulate funding and legislation recommendations for more than $600 billion in annual defense and intelligence spending.
