Executive Mosaic is glad to unveil Pierre Chao, co-founder and managing partner of Renaissance Strategic Advisors, as the latest inductee into the Wash100, the premier group of leaders who drive growth and innovation at the intersection of the public and private sectors.
The more than 26-year aerospace and defense consulting veteran serves as a co-founder and managing partner of Enlightenment Capital, is on the board of directors of KeyW Corp. and is a senior associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in addition to his duties at Renaissance.
Prior to starting RSAdvisors, Chao served as director of defense industrial initiatives at the Center for Strategic and International Studies from 2003 to 2007 and had a career on Wall Street where he worked for firms including Credit Suisse First Boston, Morgan Stanley and Smith Barney.
During his career, Chao helped to guide 31 aerospace and defense equity offerings and IPOs which raised a total of $11.7 billion.
“Many of the problems of the acquisition system are really the result of unintended consequences of a very byzantine and at time outright contradictory set of laws and regulations, rather than outright malice or malfeasance on the part of the people,” said Chao in an ExecutiveGov article.
Executive Mosaic extends its congratulations to Pierre Chao and the rest of the Renaissance organization.
