Market Survey IDs Critical Infrastructure Security Contractors

Posted by Ross Wilkers on November 15, 2013 in News | 30 Views

Research and Markets has unveiled a new industry analysis report that offers a look at trends and providers of technologies used in public and private industries to safeguard critical infrastructures.

The “2013 Report on Global Critical Infrastructure Protection 2013 – 2018” report cites BAE Systems, McAfee, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Thales as among the contractors who offer infrastructure protection systems, Research and Markets said Friday.

These vendors cater to organizations that operate smart grids, transportation and energy pipelines.

Infrastructure operators and government agencies establish internationally accepted reliability standards covering physical, electrical, cybersecurity and training, Market and Research says.

The market research firm predicts that natural disasters, regulatory issues and cyber attacks will drive steady adoption of technology in the coming years.
