General Dynamics C4 Systems to Take in $475M in WIN-T R&D Work

The U.S. Army is turning to General Dynamics C4 Systems to support the third tactical increment of the Warfighter Information Network through research and development requirements.

General Dynamics will fabricate, assemble and code “configuration items” that the Defense Department said are necesary for the R&D phase to transition to the production and deployment phase.

The company will take in $475 million for the work under the contract and will provide product integration, testing and evaluation support on the award.

The Abergeen Proving Ground is the location of the contracting activity f0r the award, which will see work completed at different locations according to each order.
